Chicago’s Milk Products Media produces the web series, Small Chicago. Small Chicago is focused on Chicago-based bands that have come to the attention of producers, Justin North and Todd Tue (http://vimeo.com/channels/smallchicago) . The duo selects the bands, uses two cameras to record the bands playing three songs in one take and then edits the video for the web series. The series can be viewed on Vimeo.

Milk Products Media has produced documentaries, book trailers, concerts/music videos and sketch comedies for the web (http://www.milkproductsmedia.com/smallchicago/). Through the production of Small Chicago the producers offer emerging musical talent the opportunity to have their bands heard by both a national and local audience, as well as interact with their fans through social media, such as Twitter and Facebook. On Vimeo, on the Small Chicago channel, emerging artists in Chicago can contact the producers and request to be a part of the series. If selected, the bands gather in the basement of the studio and perform for the producers, while being filmed for the series.

Some of the local bands that have been featured on Small Chicago include The Saps, Sissy Mena, Darren Spitzer and Coltrane Motion. New episodes of the web series can be seen each week.
